Founded by Kate Griffin-Peelen & John Peelen, Maggie Mae's is the result of a lifelong dream to open a shop together. After raising their family and moving from New York to Maine in 2012, they found their inspiration in Maine's Pace of life, its farms & its community spirit.

John Brings 35+ years as a Chef & Culinary teacher while Kate draws on her background in retail & human resources. Together they've built Maggie Mae's around one mission:

Making wholesome locally sourced food easy and accessible for busy families, professionals, and neighbors.

With fresh prepared meals. sustainable packaging, and plenty of Vegan, Vegetarian, Gluten-Free, and Dairy-Free options, Maggie Mae's is more than a food shop - it's a gathering place, community partner, and a reflection of their love for Maine

(and Yes--Maggie Mae is their Family Dog, who happily receives house-made biscuits as her royalty fee.
